Come, Follow Me Made Simple Digital Workbook: A Guide to Creating Christ-Centered Habits
This workbook will help you ditch the guilt and overwhelm as you discover, with the guidance of the Spirit, your true desires for yourself, your home, and your family. With these desires as your powerful motivator, you will create a plan to implement 3-5 new habits in your home this year that will actually stick!
Taught by Their Mothers Course
This 12-week course focuses on three essential connection for powerful gospel learning in your home: connection with your family, connection with Christ, and connection with the scriptures. You will receive these 12 course lessons via email, one each week for 12 weeks.
At the end of this course you will:
- Feel excited and confident to teach your children about Christ in your home as you let go of limiting thoughts.
- Know how to quickly prepare a simple, weekly outline for what and how you want to teach your family.
- Have a loving learning environment in your home where EVERYONE pitches in and plays a part.
- Be skilled in asking Christ-centered questions and helping your children make personal connections with the scriptures.
- Keep all your kids attention even if they are at different age levels.
- Feel Spiritually guided in all that you teach as you partner with your Heavenly Father to meet your children’s individual needs.
- Know how to help your children take ownership of their learning in a way that builds their faith in and relationship with Christ.

Weekly Live Couching and Study Group
Each Monday morning at 10:00 MST (starting February 3) I will hold a live Zoom meeting where you will receive:
- Personalized guidance from me to tackle your unique challenges teaching in your home.
- Providing support and accountability to stick to your new goals and habits.
- Small group discussions with other like-minded moms to talk about what we are learning, share advice, ask questions, and discuss the Come, Follow Me reading for that week.
The live calls will be recorded and emailed to you that same day if you are unable to attend in person.

Hi, I’m Kayla!
Teaching is a passion of mine…
but it isn’t something I have always been good at.
My first year teaching elementary school I began with dreams of students eager to learn and the joy of making a real difference.
Instead, I faced overwhelming lesson planning, demanding staff expectations, and 24 energetic kids who were far from well behaved, ready to learn students. On top of it all, I was consumed by my own perfectionism and fears, trying to get everything “just right” and drowning in the process.
Thankfully, my next two years brought a fresh start at a new school, where experienced colleagues guided and taught me how to create a strong and supportive learning environment, build respect and cooperation, lean into my strengths, and to let go of my perfectionism.
My education continued with 6 years as a primary teacher, music and science summer camps, neighborhood preschools, and my very favorite… teaching my own children at home.
From all these experiences, I have learned that teaching is so much more than just having a good lesson to teach from. It is about creating a supportive environment, loving and understanding those you teach, and teaching in a way that invites the Spirit and inspires growth, and a deeper relationship with Christ.
THIS is what I want to teach you how to do!

- Instead of premade lessons... I teach you SIMPLE and EFFECTIVE teaching strategies so you can use the Spirit to better guide you in your teaching to meet your children's unique need.
- Instead of giving you strategies for "managing" hard behaviors... I teach you how to create a fun, loving environment with clear expectations that kids WANT to join in on.
- Instead of just focusing on Come, Follow Me materials... I take a wider approach of helping you figure out what kind of gospel learning your home needs (like Book of Mormon reading, Conference Talks, Baptism and Temple prep).
