The Greatest Story Ever Told
I was so inspired by Elder Stevenson’s talk, “The Greatest Easter Story Ever Told”, and his call, along with the First Presidency, to give more thought to creating a meaningful and reverent experience each Easter as we celebrate Christ’s atonement.
The question he posed was,
“How do we model the teaching and celebration of the
Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Easter story, with the same balance, fulness,
and rich religious tradition of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Christmas story?”
I don’t know about you, but I got kind of excited about this question. Christmas is one of my favorite times of year and I am all in for having another holiday like Christmas!
